Easy installation with a snap ring and spindle stopper. ■ The AF40 model can now use a disc grinder! Previously, the AF40 model could only use tools with a shaft, such as carbide bars, spindle-mounted electroplated grinding wheels, and spindle-mounted brushes, with the conventional motor spindle. Now, with the ability to use an electric disc grinder, the range of deburring options has expanded. ■ Automation of the grinding process with robots is possible! By utilizing the float mechanism of the AF40 model, a small robot can now use a disc grinder, broadening the scope for deburring automation. ■ The electric disc grinder is from HiKOKI! The electric disc grinder installed on the Thunder Unit SU-001 is the HiKOKI G10SH7. Specifications: Grinding wheel size φ100mm, maximum output 1,160W, rotation speed 12,000min-1, power supply voltage 100V.
